Scorpius, we started with nothing possible for WA on the n900 and whatever you do is only a huge bonus for the community! I already thanked you before in this thread, but thanks again! Greatly appreciated. Ill donate you something as soon as my bank money is transferred to my paypal.

Me too, "connection timed out" and asking for re-registration. WhatsApp changing protocols again...
I'm looking at the Wazapp topic, don't see messages about this issue at the moment.

why so sad? you all knew this day was coming!
I don't like it either, it forces me to buy an new phone. Yes, whatsapp is just too easy wether I like it or not... Many alternatives but just peer-pressure

Since the wazzap guys don't have a problem it might be easy to solve though. Might be something about portnumbers since scorpius talked about that in this thread...Whatever it is, if het wazzap guys have still a working client it wouldn't be too hard to implement the small changes in the protocol.

However, one day whatsapp inc. will change the protocol to disallow all non-official clients and we need to reverse engineer the whole protocol again and that takes a lot of time. I guess it's time to bundle up with wazzap guy, and see if an easy fix is in reach.

I do not know about whats going on with wazzap people..
Tried checking it up, but with no use..
But whatever may come..
I will not change my phone as long as I can hold on to it, I will..
Over the years I have grown to Love my phone..
Would be nice to have whatsapp on N900..
But never gonna change it for whatsapp

P.S. I agree that time has come to join hands
P.S. Why dont we write another open source app like whatsapp and make other people change
