I had the similar question in the EasyList thread.
When you use a non default color (pattern) for a button (like a red button for stop), it drops it's Maemo look and feel and falls back to a basic Qt one. Then it's better to apply the new look and feel to all the buttons, and not end up with a mix of buttons.
If someone knows a way to prevent loosing the Maemo look and feel in that case, let me know...

With the right stylesheet, perhaps the buttons can look almost identical to the Maemo one again.
And one could search for theme colors and try to apply them to the buttons that should have the default theme color.

So the easy answer is no, the more complex one is... at least almost

Edit: had a closer look at it. The theme buttons are actually PNG images. That should be the reason why you can't change their color. And will make it almost impossible to create identical buttons in different colors.

Ade just uploaded Cooktimer 0.0.4-18.

Several bugs are fixed:

Code:
* bugfix: reseting dish did not delete interim messages

* bugfix: Troubles when dish is set on start
- interim messages were not set correctly when dish is set on start
- crashed when dish with 3 messages is set on start
- no alarm banner label and no preselection in dishpicker when dish is set on start

* bugfix: Text of interim message could set a dish on start if identical to dish name

rasmarc recently handed me some new code with quite a changelog:

Code:
cooktimer 0.0.4-21:

New timer menu by long pressing a startbutton:
- reset a timer
- set a timer's startup settings including modes

New dish info by long pressing a dishpicker:
- shows saved alarm time of a dish and gives a hint when timer has been changed
- shows interim messages
- shows notes, which can be saved in the new "edit dish" dialog

Rearranged "edit dishes":
- dish list with delete buttons toggling "mark for deletion"
- "edit dish" dialog for changing all options of a dish
- new "notes" text field for saving recipes, tips etc.; with indicator icon in dish list

Rearranged settings dialog:
- new optional presets showing up in the main menu for changing settings quickly
- choosing an alarmfile moved from menu to settings dialog

Help updated
It's just been uploaded to extras-devel.

I guess it will be the last time I upload a new cooktimer version, as rasmarc will be the maintainer from now on.

P.s. there is a sailfish version of cooktimer also

Talking about active development; yes

But I still like to follow Maemo related news and who knows give some help or do small bug fixing.

That is a hefty loss, but that is also the way the world is spinning. Thanks for all the fish. And: so long.

And maybe we see you back (I do hope so)!

Well, I agree, that is sad news.
I have certainly learned a lot from yourself.
Thanks and good luck in the future.
