Actually, OS2008 makes reinstalling your old apps a LOT easier.

I'd rather "rush it" and crash. Then i have a good reason to complain again. After all, didn't we do that when Vista came out? And Leopard? And now OS2008. All nice and cool. Latest and greatest, but there we go with apps incompatibilities. Of course, most will work. Except that one application that YOU rely on and that worked so well on the previous OS release.

Isn't that only true for the _next_ OS2008 upgrade? I mean, when you've got OS2008 safely installed then future upgrades will be easier than before.. ?

Different scenario, TA. I'm just saying reinstalling apps will be easier.

How about backup to memorycard, is it possible restore OS2007 backup to OS2008.. Atleast bookmarks would be nice to have.

OS2008 had no problems loading and restoring my OS2007 backup file.

caveat: there was issue-- default bluetooth phone had to be reselected afterwards
