What I did:
Connect the device to a PC via USB and download your full baseq3 folder (the "N900" drive is your MyDocs folder)
Disconnect the device
Link the new baseq3 folder to your hidden one in your home directory:
Code:ln -s /home/user/MyDocs/baseq3 /home/user/.q3a/baseq3

i also tried this (guess without root), did not receive an error in X Terminal, and I do have an quake3-arena icon in the menu, but the game is not starting...nothing more than a black screen...
(before this I installed ioquake3 from extra-devel repository)
i used a plain baseq3 (v.1.11) and modified the q3config.cfg to widescreen and 840*480...
should I use another point release of quake3 (like 1.32) or are there other steps needed to run the game on the N900?

I ask, because if so, a whole host of Q3 based FPS games would become playable on the n900.
Warsow
Tremulous
Urban Terror
World of Padman
to name but a few, but they are all which FPS's designed for mouse and keyboard, and would all need an auto-aim function in order to be fun to play on the n900.
