volt you are obviously not used to decent touch screen text input then..using the keyboard its seriously annoyuing when u are used to an iphone.

yeah sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
What I was saying is, maybe with a bluetooth usb adapter (like this : http://www.inspector-gadget.co.uk/blog_134.shtml) it will be possible to connect whatever USB peripheral

All devices are different. The N900 is not an Iphone. I personally prefer the Nokia devices to other manufacturers products, so I am quite happy with the input interface. The top row takes a little to get used to but now I´m pretty quick with the physical keyboard.
For me the product quality in general, and the user interface (primarily s60.3rd and older interfaces) is more smooth and logical to me than on other devices. And I´ve tried quite a few: Palm, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Apple (only as a borrowed unit), multiple WinMo devices etc.
So I guess we cancel each other out in terms of preferences
