Wrong.

It fails in a very small and mostly unused and very specific part of EMAIL that is important to you.

It succeeds just fine for many other people that use email.

And for people whose company are open about their exchange...

The only place it doesn't work is for people whose companies want to pretend they care about security without actually caring about security..

It also doesn't work for people whose company care about *real* security.. but then: neither will any customer bought phone.

But *shrug*.

i have no problems with my emails .. As I currently have thousands of emails in my hotmail, I set up a new gmail account, and put my hotmail on forwarding all emails to the gmail.
in this way, it dsnt sync all the 2000+ emails already on the hotmail server..... Just the new ones....

Email works on my N900. It's not pretty and is really just basics.

I doubt you'll find where I've said otherwise. But let's be honest, the vitriol goes both ways. And none of it is "pretty".

Assumptions... first three letters are very true usually; moreso in these situations.

I've assumed nothing about the N900. The money - what little I do I have - has stayed in my pocket.

The Nokia N-Series is for multimedia... that's what it's always been designated for. Bringing enterprise business into the mix is not part of the deal. That's the E-Series.

Been that way for years.

I heard the Music player (part of multemedia) doesnt do its job properly.. tags
front cam is another example of multimedia which doesnt work out of the box....
whats left for multimedia? "being open-source" doesnt make it a multimedia device.. only flash integration???
