Just too much noise for my taste. Otherwise really great color theme!
Better now? (screenshot).

I prefer my version:

With a little help from Gimp and Copy&Paste I removed all screws.

The background on UnderConstruction is nice, gives the theme a nice physical feel. How do you think that texture or similar would look when applied to other elements like icon tiles, phone tiles, keyboard, status bar, etc? I think a theme with all physical-looking/textured elements could look very interesting.

Actually I tried to put some texture here and there, but it's kind of difficult since almost every element needs to scalable in horizontal or vertical and therefor it causes problems. Also most of the backgrounds in the OS are just plain colour instead of bitmaps.

But I'll update this with textured dashboard "icons" and dialog bars later.

New version should be in repos soon. I think I got it working pretty well with texturing buttons, dialogs etc

I updated the screenshots (refresh the page if they still look the same).

Trying out the updated UnderConstruction right now, very nice! The added textures look great. What do you think about adding a yellow border around icon tiles and widgets similar to the d-theme originals? Also, it kinda looks off how button presses are yellow and menu selections are gray, might look more consistent with all yellow highlights. Same with secodary text, some is yellow where other spots are gray. One "bug" I see is on the task switcher button (three layered circles). There are two white pixels that got in the image somehow. Also just noticed no button press highlights on the virtual keyboard. Great theme though! Got me wondering about how different textured themes might turn out, like wood or stone.

Not in my device. I'll try to install the deb from the maemo-server and see if it's something that autobuilder has done (I have installed a self compiled .deb on my device).

That's something to do with new PR1.2 virtual keyboard. I suppose the highlight will work fine when PR1.2 firmware (so nothing that I can fix) is out.

You're right about those half yellow highlights / gray highlights. I shall finish those later

Good

I have now uploaded a 1.0.0.4 version to extras-devel and I'll promote it to testing soon. It has now all highlights and couple of more things turned into yellow / orange.

I was bored (had a day off from work today) and while the kids were taking a nap I did this:
