You don't have to be root, but the binary has to executable, and it can't be on a vfat-partition (like everything under /home/user/MyDocs).
Just copy the file to /home/user/ and make it executable (e.g. 'chmod +x TweeGo-0.3').

Ops, forgot to tell to move to your home, sorry!

In the folder where the binary is:

mv TweeGo-0.3 /home/user/
cd /home/user/
chmod +x TweeGo-0.3
run-standalone.sh TweeGo-0.3

This should solve it.

About the DM button, it's just the button, if you click nothing will happen.

It's taking more than we imagine to implement it, maybe we'll end up releasing the new version without it :/

But it must be : run-standalone.sh ./TweeGo-0.3 with the dot and slash.

New version looks good ! Would be cool if you could release a .deb file.

The GPS takes a little while to get your coordinates. Now, there is no visual alert to say when the gps got the coordinates, only in the terminal.

If you look in the terminal, it will print your coordinates when it find it.

(For some odd reason, getting ip location in some countries return a place in the middle of ocean close to Africa

)

The permision denied is because the file you download has no exec flag or it is in the fat partition. Just move the file and chmod. By using a shellscript as loader you can use 'sh' as interpreter...

mv run* T* ~;cd ~;chmod +x run* T*;./ru* T*

just learn shell
