I think I found a bug. The N900 promo video on the new eMMC content no longer has that cool rock background music.

has any one tried Video call using PR1.2 in INDIA!!! I have flashed Global version and have BSNL 3G with data plan.??

I can't see any video call option under Call/Phone.

Direct video calling.. The options that we have in phones like Nokia N95 and other symbian 3G phones.

Am I missing somthing or has to do somthing with operator service....

There is no direct video calling. Only skpy/gtalk video call facility.

You should see an option for video call in the contacts entry in the address book if you have them added on skype.

(Hit Settings from the contacts book and you can see there is a video calling option setting)

I dont blame him much. What exactly do you do when you are paying for a functionality which after repeated updates still hasnt been fixed?
Proper email accessibility was expected when Nokia has marketed it as such and we still have trouble working with exchange and even gmail MFE (note i do not mean IMAP).

btw garyc if you dont want to be bugged, stop comparing the n900 with the iphone, you are only inviting people to snip you.

I just updated and all contacts on the home screen won't show up and they are not available to add on the home screen.

Other contacts are available, but when u chose to have them on the home screen, they won't show up there.

Now this is a funny one..

I reflashed yesterday (didn't flash eMMC).

Everything went great, including most of restoring applications, until Application Manager started complaining "Not enough space in application install memory" ect.

I uninstalled some stuff, but that doesn't help.. And now even if I try installing a small app it complains about not enough space.

The funny thing is, I have 76,5MB free rootfs and 120MB free /home..

Anyone else has this or know a solution?

woops thought it was fixed but computer still says no, always the email account at the top of the list never refreshes, its been like this for at least 10 months, i can rename the o2 account to tutster73 and it goes to the bottom of the list, but then the ovi account wont work, unfortunatelly i need 2 email accounts to work, so.....
dear mr nokia, as you cant be @rsed to fix this basic feature, that is a must have for me, heres what your gonna do:
send me a blackberry immediatelly, i want it at my door within the hour, also ill need compensating for this, lets say £500 per month for the last ten months? and while i wait for you to get ur finger out of ur @rse, il be wanting £1000 per month while i wait for you to fix it! apart from that everything else is sweet!
well done mr nokia man!
you may now have a 15min break, go get some lunch, and send my compo to feed the homeless!

1 i noticed was that in conversations, when you do a long press to delete a message, sometimes it clicks on the open contact or it closes the popup, small bug but annoying nevertheless

Well, I may be a bit nervous today ... ... but generally, Im tired of people describing what a piece of s--t this device is ... I dont force them to like it, but if it doesnt suit their needs, they could sell it ... I know its expensive stuff, but this kind of complaining wont help them ...
