I am using it for the first time. When I launch it, it asks me to set some sort of permissions. No idea. help anyone?

*UPDATE* Yep that was it....
I still needed to reboot though, because as mentioned in my prior post it was no longer launching.
Seem as all good again now though...

settings->notifications
inside this we have notifications & feed on home screen
inside notifications there is facebook
inside feed on home screen there is facebook news feed
which one we need to disable?or disable both?
/edit: also is that necessary sociality to be run in bg inorder to push notifications?

It doesn't show feeds in homescreen. I have disabled that stock one and rebooted but still no feeds.
Never mind.. It's working now..

If you disable FB notifications entirely, you won't get friend requests etc, the feature in Sociality relates to your FB news-feed, which goes into the feed home-screen, simple concept.
