understood, I try again
Thanks

what mean of CI be 0, I found mine is 1
Leaning cycle means bq27200.sh 5? Thats means I no need wait the battery nearly discharged and just start this step when battery full charged?

you need to have 0 (1 means error). If CI is 1 bq27x00_battery kernel module ignore all capacity properties (and report error). Plug wall charger and fully charge. Unplug charger and discharge. When BME notify "Battery empty", stop bme and monitor battery status with bq27200.sh script. When EDV1 switch to 1, plugin wall charger, start bme (it could turn off display) and fully charge. This calculate battery capacity - but it could not calculate correct values (so do learning cycle again)...

i want to install kp49 and i downloaded all needed files to my PC and cloned to my N900.
i heard that packages must be installed in order... in which order, could you remind? (if it wouldn't i'll just do "dpkg -i *.deb" but i know it is not the case)

also do you consider kp49 as "almost stable"? i wanted to test thoroughly the compcache/ramzswap

well minor instability issues wouldn't make me cry, because i have kp48 from repo, and my phone has tiny unstabilities (it reboots when much stress to the machine IO (network or disk) and in same time random factor appears)

pali i think they doesn't have your latest patched kp48 in repository, do they? so i thought it would be easier to just skip to kp49, and keep if stability pleases me or just come back if it is unpleasant for me.

note that i'm not overclocking yet (to not void waranty until it ends), and my kp reports as 48 and it seems to not have ramzswap module

EDIT:and im having problem that battery-meter sometimes stuck on 5mAh (0.4%) and unstucks (steps up) only after long charging
it looks i don't have any suspicious *patches i have bme on and i believe i don't use bq27x00-battery module but i use really funky conky script and i don't know if it touches that

PS: is kp49 so unstable that during kernel flashing sh|t may happen? i ask because i've never done remote reflash (the one with usb and "U" key) and don't want to have to.
PPS: I was supprised how easy it was to just flash the kp48 kernel, and that i don't have to do mysterious tricks like rebooting without battery, etc. the only things i believe i have not tried yet are repartitioning MMC and multiboot
PPPS: i have my n900 bought this summer holidays from third party, but i'm advanced in using computer devices, so i'm neither noob nor pro at these boards.

Hi pali I don't know what you did(Since i don't see any updates on pali-master git) but it is working flawlessly now. Probably the reboot loops was on the kernel's side? And you got it fixed on kernel power 49?

Update: Pali your latest combinated image doesn't work again on my n900 with hardware revision 2204 but the one "before you updated few hours ago" was working fine and stable on my n900

My IR port (at least with QtIrreco), is not working any more since I installed v48.
Some people are having the same problem: N900 infrared problem

Can someone confirm this? Is there anything I can do?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I tried "TV-B-Gone" and it worked. The problem is just with QtIrreco.
