Best solution is to forward all text messages to your Gmail account and use the mobile site
google.com/voice/m

Here's a good post for you.

This way you can get both an LED notification as well as sound when receiving a new message.

Code:
sudo leafpad /opt/dialcentral/lib/backends/gvoice/gvoice.py
(I'm using LeafPad as my text editor.)

Then, search for self._loginURL. Change the URL after it from https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth to https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLoginAuth. Save. Close. Etc.

Now on to the next error. Edit: ah, next error magically went away. I appear to be fully operational. Yay!

I don't have this directory

Only /opt/dialcentral/lib/utils

On the N900, with the current DialCentral, the correct path is:
Code:
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/dialcentral/backends/gvoice
After making the change above on the file with the same name, DialCentral is now able to log into Google voice again for me.
