Still partly broken for me on Firefox regardless of exact address, haven't yet installed Chrome (new install of OSX).

That person Jolla responded to is in Finland. I'd consider it promising if they were to say the same to somebody from the UK, France, Germany or the US. Launching in Finland and China are up first from what I've heard anyway; so no surprises there.

As usual, just read the FAQ :
Well, even they have routinely contradicted this supposed "final word" on what's happening, maybe that's why.
If that's still their official stance, sux to be anyone outside the EU, apparently they don't exist in Jolla's mind.

Two things bother me, though...
- the lack of any mention of China (I believe this will change with the Chinese New Year)
+1
Eerily silent for way too long now, lets hope the plans are rock-solid...

- Yandex. You can disagree, but I'd rather have an NSA integrated service than a Russian one. It is a wide known fact all major bussineses in Russia need to cooperate with the government. And you know, the Russian government is far 'less predictable' than the US'.
(no offense Custodian, Ancelad and others )
+1

I sincerely hope that Jolla/Sailfish people don't have the same attitude on that.

I believe so.
One thing that surprised me is that they have just opened a position of E-commerce Operations Manager:
In this role you will be responsible for:

Managing development and performance of Jolla’s e-commerce store
Analyzing trends in online customer demand and ensuring they match Jolla’s supply plan
Developing ideas on how to best merchandise Jolla’s products in an online environment
Developing capability and executing online marketing and sales campaigns in coordination with Sales and Marketing (e.g. pre-orders, sales, promotions, SoMe)
Managing speed of service (inventories, delivery times, delivery quality)
Managing overall store revenue, turnover and costs with finance and accounting teams
Web analytics, tracking and reporting on-line sales
A skilled SEO expert together with email marketing experience
Ensuring returns are handled appropriately in coordination with Jolla’s customer service team
The deadline is November 25th. Isn't it quite late to hire for this position? (they might already have other staff on this position and it might not be crucial position for sending out preorders)

Some more interesting info:
EDIT: Added the details on the Alarm app.

Thanks nodevel, I was about to write the same things

For the job postings, some additional infos and opinion:
- they seem to indicate that they are now about 90 (they used 80 for long time)
- it seems some of the job descriptions refer to ODM so that may indicated that the 'sailfish alliance' is getting somewhere
- the job you describe is probably done by someone else currently who is planed to work in a different direction from now on (you can imagine that with 80-90 people, some are changing positions from time to time to answer the demand in time t).

About the release time and the Finland vs other European countries, my opinion is that they will probably ship at about the same time for all the countries but Finish people will get them first because of shipping being faster.

God I hope so, this has been a complete enigma compared to competitors for way too long...

Not necessarily. More likely, ODM refers to the partner that builds Jolla phones already.

*edit* yes, it's empty at the moment, but work has started - it just hasn't been reviewed and had the integration process started, so I'm told.

You can say that again... I'm losing track of how many hats I have to wear on a weekly basis
