the rss widget is called 'Atoma'
the contacts widget is called 'Photo contact widget'
the twitter widget is called 'Plume'
and there all scrollable widgets!

on the centre screen im using 'Sms unread count'
it gives you an icon counter for sms, gmail, and missed calls

and there all free from the market
Thanks. Will give all of them a try. Doubt anything will take me away from Go Launcher but will try
Zeam.

What will unlocking do?
Before I begin, I should use the disclaimer: Use at your own risk!

Anyway, unlocking a device allows it to work on different carriers supported by the radio in the device. This is good if you're travelling, or are looking to change providers.

Wife wants one of these for handling flight operations,
and so we went to look at it.

The hardware, thickness and heft of the device are all very nice
considering how large the display is.
It is ominously breakable, so it needs a leash or carry pouch
or something - breaking that beautiful screen would break your heart.

The lack of a dedicated usb port is more than just a bit lame,
but Samsung has always used convoluted connections.

The Android display seemed a bit clunky to me,
but I guess that is just my own prejudice by virtue
of using KDE on desktops and having the n900 mods we see here.

I suppose it is worth it for set-piece applications,
hope it doesn't disappoint.

Does anyone know if the USB hardware is OTG capable? Am thinking about buying one of these to do some Meego hacking (to try dual booting as I'd also quite like to use the maps in the meantime), and USB will be necessary in the prelim stages.

I am also curious weather the USB hardware can do OTG. I assume that you will need a BT keyboard for on device manipulation of the port.

From the dmesg output (e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...4&postcount=29)

It appears there's a FSA9480 USB device switch and a "s3c-udc : S3C HS USB OTG Device Driver, (c) 2008-2009 Samsung Electronics"

So that's promising at least.
