Mmm, I think that I might be experiencing what you comment about D-Bus.
No output at all, and I usually launch Qalendar from the Calendar Home Widget May that you mentioned the problem I'm facing?

+: I've tried from both the console, as you recomended with the option --allow-multiple-instances, and from the widget. It always closes from the widget =S

As in "It always closes from the widget and stays open when launched from the terminal with --allow-multiple-instances"?

If that's the case, make sure that you have followed the instructions from the wiki to replace Calendar exactly (https://wiki.maemo.org/Qalendar#Repl...fault_calendar). If I had to guess, I'd say that you have a typo in "--background".

I use Calendar Home Widget too and it works just fine.

Hi gidzzz,

Just finished Russian translation of Qalendar on Transifex.
Is there anything I can do to help it appear in next build?

Thanks for the contribution, translations on Transifex are all I need. I can easily pull them when preparing an update. Like Qalendar 0.9.9:
  • New translations: Spanish by jmo707, Russian by uncle_night.
  • Updated translations: Ukrainian (thanks to uncle_night), French, Dutch, Slovenian.

Since CSSU update to "21.2011.38-1Smaemo8", it is not possible anymore to import calender data, find attached. After a second try the message is that they are already existing but I can't see any date in the calendar. Any help is appreciated.

Are you 100% sure it is caused by the CSSU update? There is a problem with the attached file, namely some entries have a malformed date, e.g. "20160711T235200Z0" (should be "20160711T235200Z"), which on my setup (still using an older version of calendar-backend) leads to only the first 30 entries being imported (31st is the first with a bad date), of which the last one is on 2016-07-04.

Try with the attached file, I fixed the dates.

Does this support 12 hour time? I thought I remember it doing it in the past.
Thanks

@gidzzz, might I suggest, if possible, to add a way to change a saved 'task' into an 'event,' and vice-versa.

With stock calendar, and qalendar, you have to create a completely new task/event if you had chosen the wrong type earlier. Ability to switch the types would be great, if it is doable
