to install version from extras-devel you have to remove libxss manualy as it's replaced by libxss1 - and package is in repository (http://maemo.org/packages/view/chromium/)

Can't try it on an iPhone because I don't own one but you get my point, you can brag with 'it being possible to run desktop software on a mobile phone' but in my opinion Chromium isn't as functional (yet) as the Opara browser I mentioned before. Ugly long sentence lol.
If you ask me you better brag with easy debian or open office if you want to show iPhone-people that it's possible to run real non-mobile based software on the phone. They don't have anything to show you off in that area, with browsers they do now (despite the fact they still and always will miss flash).
don't you think Opera mini for iPhone looks good?
