Thanks,

Please show a screen shot or an EXACT copy of the screen typed out. It will make it much easier to diagnose. It is almost impossible for you to have accidentally removed the umount binary.

Penguinbait,

My mistake. I missed the space. I'm working on the n800 screen.

Thanks, Can't wait to put up your Koffice!

Penguinbait,

edit: someone helping me.
I've got a 16gb internal and 16gb external card. I want to dedicate about 7gb in the internal for the system and the rest for memory. I've read Milhouse's examples and others but I'm so comfused by math(I'm dyslexic, numbers get reversed) can you help me with figuring out the numbering for my percentages?
Thanks,
Dan

You are really better off posting this in Milhouse's thread. I am not familiar with his process.

There is a deb install process which does not require partitioning which may be easier for you, but I dont have a 16GB card and all the numbers (cyclinders/sectors) are differ by manufacturer.

I think it is called "Atlas Green' I found it when playing around in the 'appearances' section of the control panel or whatever it is called. I even tweaked some of the colors and created my own theme.

I can't post again without commenting on just how amazing KDE is on my N810! Agreed with the poster who called it a 'dancing bear' but having danced with a few bears, notably those of the 'ms x.0' variety and this at least works! Of course it is slow in many of the apps that require a lot of resources, but it works and so far, with only a single freeze (admittedly I had a few windows open=).

I like it so far becasue I just figured out how to access not only the content on my N810 but even how use a couple of the applications on the N810 *in* KDE (MediaPlayer and Images)

Also, I can access all my content on other disks (well, some other discs) using usb! Immediately after installing KDE I had usb host 'problem' that proved to be all a bad dream...erm, that is, I caused it by deleting a file. It may not prove to be the best way to use the IT, but for now, KDE has my attention! Thanks again Penguinbait for demonstrating the power of our little 'toy'.

PSsst. Post your 'donate here' button again

Hey thanks, FYI, I will be posting some updates in the near future to toggle the usb host mode, I will also include cdrom and joystick support. I also want to get a consensus from everybody on which settings to change the defaults on. I am thinking of starting a KDE settings thread, if nobody beats me to it
