Really!? Wow, that's a very good news. I'm very surprised that it worked. If a few additional people can confirm that it works fine, I will submit the package to be promoted into extras repo.

Qt4.5 and 4.6 were not binary compatible so it’s not that surprising that apps linked to one can fail in mysterious ways when run with the other (even if you used no specific 4.6 functionality).

Switched to mstardict when this wasn't working. Are they effectively the same thing but with different look? Seem to function quite similar to me.

Yes indeed. I understand and it makes perfect sense.

Just reinstalled. Looks pretty good. Still seeing the code for some of the text tags, e.g., color="blue">n.

Not for me - everything works perfectly here. I think this should go into extras-testing as quickly as possible so that it can soon replace the stone-dead version in extras.

I imagine it depends on the dictionaries installed.
