Maemo. Not N900. The phone blogs may just have thought it ment the N900. And that Maemo will get it has been quoted all through this thread. The N900 part has not been confirmed by anyone but bloggers.

When people rage about unsatisfied expections, those expections should be based on what is the business norm, not on what they would like to have had because it's better elsewhere.
That's the point - it's not that they promised it to everybody else but us - it's that they they didn't promise it to anybody - but everybody but us gets it (as it currently stands).

But nokia are updating all other current hi-end phones with the software. Surely that then becomes Nokia's business norm.

Ansii Vanjoki sure thinks it's coming....

No where in the search results is a direct quote from Nokia with a solid answer/date/anything. Just blogs and heresay from "Nokia insiders".
Lets just wait till official confirmation from the powers that be before damning the device to a dusty hell in a drawer somewhere.
