Agree with above two posts, ebuddy is not as good as the telepathy-msn-pecan, IMHO.

actually its cheap
less data consuming
the builtin and the pidgin is more data intensive
plus the auto app update is a real pissoff too..

Seriosly though, n900 isn't for r.etards, if you don't know what the difference is between using ubifs and ftl you probably shouldn't post here.
Go buy yourself an iphone or nintendo and be happy.

I meant official support and continued updates of the OS via the manufacturer.

That's sorta important when the closed bits are in need of either updates or fixing.

The community can handle the rest.

It's back to good old "free software" support, the way it should be.
Paid support hasn't ever been very useful anyway.
