Oh, there we go again - another half-baked product expecting the community to finish it for them without any support to the community. Only thing is , since its already been developed somewhat, might as well sell it again to the developers and take their money, while giving them - nada, nothing in return. Another N900 type product for developers only. Great !

Hey, that is fine by me. I love the N900. If we get another phone as good or better than the N900 I will be thrilled. Unfortunately, I have my doubts that it will match the N900. But, we shall see.

You know about this thread so as a moderator why dont you do something about it?.

Do we really need to be kicked in the teeth any more than we have? do think we really need yet another backstabbing duplicate thread like this one?.

Yes he knows about this thread, he wants a link to the duplicate thread which I'm sure you can provide to him since you are complaining about it.

I know the news/rumours of the N950 has been mentioned in other threads, but I can't remember if there has been a thread dedicated to it (there may well have, but I don't have a great memory) and I don't care to look. Now if this duplicate thread annoys you so much, do what Texrat suggests, use the report post link and provide a link to the duplicate thread so one of the mods can merge it. *****ing at a moderator for not doing what you want when you haven't provided the information that has been asked for doesn't cut it.

Hmm, my memory is bad, I posted in one of those.

Well done for making the effort to provide links, but it still wasn't the right way to request a thread merge.

I did not request i just commented.

One of the biggest problems on this forum is duplicate threads because thread starters do not do their homework properly, it takes only a few seconds to do a search before starting a thread !.

Um i can think of lots of things i can do in a hotel tv that i couldnt do with an andriod device.
All of those things work perfectly with my Droid. Wiimote support works better on my Droid than it does on my N800 (same as the N900) and far easier/faster to configure. Bluetooth mouse and keyboard support works fine in Android out-of-the-box (at least where it isn't crippled out). Keyboard and mouse works PERFECTLY on my Droid. Verizon ruined it on my Galaxy Tab, though. There's also a BUNCH of RDP programs for Android (rdesktop)--so no problem there.

Most Android devices have some kind of TV-out (HDMI) but admittedly few have composite out, so you're GENERALLY right, there. I'd already pointed out in another thread how some support that headphone-jack composite out (like the iPod video and the Android based Samsung Galaxy S2).

Some of this is debatable. If you install Debian on Android, you get all of that (although Bluetooth/USB tethering you get out-of-the-box). There are apps to provide routing setup--and it seems to be far easier there, too.

Once again, not sure what you're missing out anymore these days.
