To disable the bq27x00_battery module wich is depreciated
Then reboot

otherwise to reenable it :

echo "#blacklist bq27x00_battery" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
(not recommened)
Could you please provide a prooflink? I'm using this module with power kernel 47 and it's just OK, I need it for the temperature sensor.

Well i didn't understand what you request but if you wanna know what kernel you are using then

uname -a

and if you wanna know that the battery module is loaded or not
there are multiple ways but the easiest is
open conky and keep your eyes on the tempreture and the battery usage left
then

modprobe -r bq27x00_battery

if you had it loaded then you will (after 5 seconds) that in conky the battery usage values changes to the TRUE values but the tempreture changes to -1 (only in conky) while in qcpu stays but not very accurated

and if you

modprobe bq27x00_battery

you will see that tempreture changes again to the TRUE values
but the battery usage values changes to WRONG values

Well for me i prefer to know the TRUE battery usage values

EDIT:
BUT BECAREFULL Your N900 will probably reboot after doing those steps
Cause playing with the battery modules is not safe

No, I mean why do you say it's not recommended? Are there any stability issues or it just provides wrong battery usage values (and there are no tricky side-effects)?

I'm using bq27x00_battery for a long time, knowing temperature is more important for me

it makes the process to use more cpu. The original value has a ratio of 1,05 this value has a ratio of 1,08.
Hmm Well thank you for your suggestion i will try them and i will reply the result

Oh you should check kernel-power v47 Thread
They have more details about it
And yes there are side effects (for bme) i don'r actualy remeber them
Just check their thread and you will have more idea about it

@epitaph
About the lines you posted
Well they does make the processes uses more cpu but however
the ability to launch multi applications at the same time is more limited

BUT i need to test more

Great work karam, thank you very much for your devotion.

I have tested the whole setup on 2 virgin PR1.3 N900's
The tweaked one is day and night more responsive when heavy browsing takes place.

First I notice a difference in responsiveness with only the cgroup script but the complete set of tweaks incl Swappolube and CSSU perfectly adds to it for an all round improved user experience.

Here is a video that shows how to finally still miss a call due to too many open websites (missed call during hanging period at the end of vid)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wbu_JN8Q-k

-heavy full version websites had been left opened for hours (this is already a problem for non tweaked PR1.3's)
-still the first incoming call is coming through (great success)
-messing around with the generally responsive web windows shows it can still turn into non responsive (but then again, you could do this to the average pc as well)
-but after missing a phone call and hanging a little it graciously recovered and a game of Wagic could be played without noticeable delay and during that game a phone call could get through again.

To conclude:

the time-frame into which the phone will not be accepting incomings seems to have shortened significantly thanks to the tweaks.

Under normal use I could say that your patch brings out the very best from our "old" platform if not put to shame the dual core competition with their "for mobileTM" websites.

I noticed this becaue by changing this value in the root folder of the cgroup every subfolder and every sub-process inherent this value. This is currently the only effect I can see useful with this patch.
