Hy, godofwar424

I've already read that post, but still have 3 doubts, if you can help me I'd appreciate very much.

First: what is the command in N9 terminal to edit that file "ui.py"? I can locate it using Filebox but don't know how to edit him. Be patient with me, I'm not familiar with terminal operations - to be sincere, even fear to enter that mode.

Second: in D.Cent's post he wrote that he modified 3 files: "ui.py", "wajsonrequest.py" and "warequest.py". Do we edit these 3 files, or only "ui.py"?

Third: how to write Symbian version? Now is "Symbian-2.6.61-443", may I change "2.6.61-443" to "2.6.99"? That 4 last caracters ("-443" are not necessary?

By the way, althoug I'm constantly receiving that annoying message from WhatsApp server, my wazapp is OK, without any error messages like "fail too many..."

If your wazapp is running fine, this tweak will stop them irritating server messages.

You must edit all 3 of the files, thats why I posted that in a quote as well as the ui.py one.

The initial one just shows you what you should look for in order to change the version in all 3 files

In order to edit them, I would suggest using SSH via a computer and accessing the /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp/ directory, then just open up the 3 files with a text editor like WordPad or a built in text editor on your SSH client.

Previously I would suggest using 'nano' and terminal but it seems that the server is down and won't let me install nano on my N9

wow, you are there?

My doubt is how to edit the 3 files, I don't know how to make it.

Is necessary to enter N9 terminal, I think. There, after writing "devel-su" and "rootme", what is the command to edit files? Remember, I know almost nothing about using the terminal. And my version of wazapp is the regular one, not dev one, just because I fear to use terminal mode.

Other doubt is exactly how I must edit Symbian version: "2.6.99" simply, or may I put that "-443" at the end?

Sorry, my doubts are probably very silly, but I have them...

You answered before I finish my second message.

Sorry again, but what is SSH client? My desktop has Windows 7 64 bit installed, what app must I install?

I'm not pretty sure, but last week I installed Inception 0.2 and then Opptimizer, I think have installed "nano" too.

What is the command to edit by terminal using "nano"? And that question about "6.2.99" or "6.2.99-443"?

Thank you very much for your attention.

OK, again you were faster then me, and your answer arrived when I was typing...

Will try google, as you suggested, thank you.

Sorry ignore my earlier intructions

Do this

Open terminal and type in this

Code:
devel-su
rootme
apt-get install nano
cd /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp\
nano /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp\filename.py
When the file is opening in nano, use the arrows above the keyboard to scroll down and then make your changes.

To save changes press Ctrl X then press y and enter

The change you need to make is change the

Code:
Symbian-2.6.61-443
to this

Code:
Symbian-2.6.99
Hope this helps!
