@pali - please, make it very clear on the first page that there is a new frequency scheme, so if one has /etc/default/kernel-power, or loads some custom profiles, he/she MUST modify them according to new frequencies, i.e to remove 700 and to change 750 to 720.

@fahadj2003 - it does not make sense to undervolt dsp profile, SR will do it for you anyway. By "undervolting" you just move SR start point, but at the end the resulting voltages will be the same AIUI.

EDIT:
When I have some spare time I will make a post here describing how latest KP works re CPU/DSP speeds.

For now please, all of you just try dsp profile without modifications. If it works for you DO NOT TOUCH IT, just make it your default power-on profile. It has all the CPU/DSP power and battery savings you need, even though max CPU frequency is 805.

If "stock" dsp profile does not work for you, then you can try to edit it, lowering DSP frequency for 805 from 600 to 520 and consequently lowering 720 and 805 DSP frequencies from 520 to 430, leaving SR enabled all the time.

And If it is still unstable please do the following:
1. find a profile that works for you (try with lv, it should work)
2. post here the contents of
/sys/cpuinfo
/sys/power/Efuse
/sys/power/idcode
3. Wait until I find why SR does not work stable an some devices . It is a shame for both TI and Nokia that SR is unstable on n900, it gives a huge amount of battery savings. So I will do my best to make it stable on all devices.

@fremangordon
thank you for your explanation.. so, using the old kp48's working profile, removing 700 and 750 mhz it should work?
.....this is what i have done, but i have problems playing any video file and excessive battery drain.

RUNNIG PROFILE:

MINFREQ=250
# kp48 MAXFREQ=750
# kp48 FREQS="0:25,90 125:25,90 250:33,180 500:40,400 550:45,430 600:46,500 700:48,500 750:50,500 805:52,500 850:54,500 900:60,500 950:60,500 1000:60,500 1100:72,520 1150:72,520"

SLEEPING PROFILE:

any suggestion?

EDIT:
in fact, with kp49 i have no stability/hangs/reboots problems, but the battery drain it at least twice if compared with kp48 (measured with battery-eye) and i'm unable to play any video file...(while with kp48 there is no problem at all)

@xes - Why are those comments, i.e "#" at start of frequencies, would you post your real profile? And that running/sleeping does not make sense. Please disable for a while this profile management ,load dsp profile and report.

Also do not disable SR for vdd2, this one is stable AFAIK

Thank you... those comments are placed only to explain how i converted my old kp48 profile to the new kp49 build...

Edit:
Sorry, what do you mean with "dsp profile"?

@Hurrian - damn it, that just does not make sense:

my revision 2204 efuse values:
009ab9e5
009a86ac
00aab48a
00aba2e6
00ab90d3

my revision 2101 efuse values:
009ab1dd
009a81a6
00aab48a
00aba2e6
00ab90d3

your efuse values:
009ad0fe
009a94bc

00aab48a
00aba2e6
00ab90d3

Starts to look like SR is not calibrated for 500,550 and 600. WTF?

Lets wait someone else to post efuse calibration so a definite conclusion could be made.
