technically, i shouldn't have the time to muck around with o/c kernels since i have a final research paper due! oh well, my haphazard prioritisation at work,

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

@Titan

Any luck producing an ULV kernel with Lehto's omap3-opp.h, as per this post?

Titan, I understand your observation, my problem is more that I am from BRAZIL.
I speak Portuguese, and does not understand English!
Voces to heed for I am using the Google translator.

That is, the pages with the controls end up being translated, and with it It is difficult to track.

I'm using kernels that Link here http://www.farahfa.com/n900-custom-k...rnelslehto-oc/
Yeah facio install and does not need commands in X-terminal.

could you possibly post more kernels like that?
the maximum that it has 930mhz is

by X-terminal are tough right!

Tried both versions of the ulv kernels (1100 and 1000). Neither will boot for me. O well, was hoping I could get some extra speed with the lower voltage.

@Lehto Is it possible to get a less aggressive ulv kernel?
Yes, will upload one later today... possibly. Its a shame we dont know whos got the device with crappiest cpu to try this on.

Reading a couple of post after my last one, I turned SmartReflex off (D'oh). I reflashed the 800/1000 ulv kernel. At least it boots now. I'll test this for a little bit and see how it goes.

Man, it took a while to read all 193 pages lol....

Thanks to Letho and Titan for providing the kernels. This is one big step for smartphones, one giant step for the N900 :P

Personally hope to get a N900 (or a MeeGo phone) soon.

Thanks alot once again.

I am a bit confused after all these posts, so sorry for asking, but since latest titan kernel the -maemo20 version which include the undervolt patch from Letho, what other differences exist between the two kernels? Apparently they look very similar now (from outside) or I am missing something, cause it has become hard for normal ppl like me to judge which kernel to pick up, I am sure both coders did a great job and putted alot of effords into their work, but is not always easy for us to understand which differences exist and choose according it.

titan or Letho you willing to explain briefly which difference still exist? Maybe you guys should just merge the work together and build the ultimate kernel
