Let me see if I get it.
I open the X-terminal and enter the code

wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/ke...mo20_armel.deb
wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/ke...mo20_armel.deb wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/ke...mo20_armel.deb
wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/ke...mo20_armel.deb wget http://maemory.com/N900/overclock/ke...mo20_armel.deb
dpkg-i kernel-m * dpkg -i kernel-m*
dpkg-i kernel-f * dpkg -i kernel-f*
parar halt

Do not need anything else??

Link the files need to be sent to the mobile before entering the command?

Thanks for your patience!

Installing the maemo20 kernel and overclocking to 1000mhz will also make PR1.2 release a lot faster.

Just saying ;-)

I had a funny problem. I'm running SmartReflex and the undervoltage kernel at 800 mHz. I'm hoping to save battery.

The problem is I was using a giant Mugen battery (2400 mAh) and it seemed to stay forever at 100 percent, so I couldn't tell how much battery I was saving!

So I just switched to the regular Nokia battery and we'll see...

Could you upload that pi calc binary somewhere? We are missing "real" stress test app to easily check stability. Someone take AP to make ARM specific optimized stress app :P Maybe there's one already?

I installed Titan's maemo20 kernel, and tested the following tasks for the 900 Mhz set up:
1) receiving a call - It works. My cpu set back to 900 Mhz.
2) Sygic map - It works.
3) The default media player for MP3 - It works.
4) Web Browsing - work.
5) Web Flash - work.

Thank you, titan and lehto for such a great work.

Just so that I understand correctly, this kernel includes the reduced voltage modification too? And when installed the default upper limit will be 600mhz until manually changed to a greater value?

Thanks

i have a strange problem and i do not know if this is problem of the overclocking or of the applications. i want your opinion
Months ago when i first buy the phone , i install gps jini , in order to check the accuracy of the gps and the result i took was from 10 to 25meters.
Now after the overclocking the accuracy i take is from 40 to 100meters.
But the strange thing is that to sygic the accuracy i take is 25meters.
Do you think that this is a problem of the application or of the overclocking?

Neither of Lehto's undervoltaged kernel's work for me. Will not boot. No smartreflex turned on either.

Would be willing to test less aggressive kernels.

AFAIK Titan's does not yet include undervoltage.

How would one know if they have a crappy cpu? I am sure some people are willing to try this out. I am. I know how to flash, only from linux livecd cause of win7 64bit. I can put an ubuntu partition on hard drive and we can get to business. Or you (not me-no exp.) develop a program that wont make any changes to one's device and run some diagnostic tests and you can have them post the results on a post on this forum. Maybe you can see a pattern that develops with certain parts of the imei number, batch number, maybe time of manufacture. This could help so many other projects in the future- I'm assuming. Just an idea.

The newest Titan-kernel installed from the extras-testing seams to be awesome! Have tried stressing it a little bit and it ate everything. I have set my /etc/pmconfig to 250mhz/850mhz. My temp stayed around 20 degrees so i guess it has the undervoltage patch.
