just hoping for a gsm version soon, although CPU speed is fine for me id still like to see how far it can be pushed, i run my n900 @ 1ghz (only when needed) and its still slower than my tab!

Leetut what is the difference between the free version of task killer and the pro version? Couldn't tell from their download page descriptions. Don't want to cough up £3 for the pro version if it doesn't do much more than the free version.

If memory serves, the paid version only removed the ads. AdFree effectively makes "free = pro".

I don't think there's Any difference in functions probs just ads,
I did read somewhere that tasks can't be killed properly in froyo
So I'm currently testing ATKfroyo
And 'auto kill on screen unlock' seems to be working properly now

Hey Etuoyo, check this out:

Stay Awake!

http://b.leppoc.net/2010/10/03/andro...le-stay-awake/
http://www.androidzoom.com/android_a...dget_lltv.html

Individual controls for "USB-powered" and "AC-powered".
Useful for development: your screen will stay always on, no need to unlock.
It's a home screen widget that keeps the screen from turning off or locking. Should be VERY useful when reading a book, or any other operation where you would want the page to stay on.

Let me know if it works.

I believe that e-readers should disable slepping by default (this is not hard to do), or at the very least extend the awake-time significantly. It's just shoddy programming and one would think that the developers of said apps never actually tried their applications at any great length (or are speed readers).

Still, the widget should be helpful. Have at it.

The other day I noticed my launcher pro updated.....but didn't know what was updated.

Thanks a lot!

This is a pretty neat fan commercial:

Great concept, and pretty well executed.

You've got to love Google innovation. If you've been following the news, you will have noted that Google Cloud Print is now live and works on Android/iOS for mobile Gmail and mobile Documents.

So far, only a Windows print-server is available, but there are plans to release it for Linux and OSX.

Now you can print from your Tab anywhere in the world (or in your house). A very useful feature indeed for those of us that still print. I look forward to more apps supporting the API.
