You should check the on screen message and verify the flash process after the install of kernel-power-flasher.

At the end, reboot..

That doesn't look like the correct file. Why does it have a .desktop extension? I'd suggest redownloading the kernel-power-flasher .deb file.

@pali With "backport harmattan patches" do you mean that you have merged all the lines updated in Harmattan Kernel?
This could be a step forward in porting Harmattan...
Thanks for response

DSP driver is backported form Harmattan, i.e. this build and n9/n950 are running almost one and the same bridgedriver.

"Unable to install blah, blah.

I need some help here.

I want, if possible, to recover my multiboot entries for stock maemo kernel, kernel-power49, NITdroid and backupmenu.

Am I wanting miracles??

Thanks in advance.

By the way, any plans (with ~date of executing) of putting kp49 into repos, and starting submitting new patches as kp50 testing?

I still think it would be better to "quasi-fork" kp, and get usable extras-testing-devel, but, whatever. It would just be great to see new version in repos - many important changes/fixes, and it's been long time without update (in repos).

/Estel

//Edit

If someone would ask me, I think it's better to include finished, well tested 720p recording/playback related patches by freemangordon (from kp side), even if this mean quite a delay. That would also allow implementing fully functional, GUI based 720p recording/playback - with next CSSU update, containing new camera-ui.

Still, everything "after" that (on kernel side) should IMO go to kp50 - new things need testing, and we don't want to sit outside repo (and with 346455 different versions of kp49 installed on user devices) forever, yea?
