Hi,

I have a problem with sfos-n9-1.1.2.15.tar.bz2 on my N950 installed.

The screen is inversed how can i do to resolve my problem please?

Hi,

I have installed SFOS 1.1.0.39 on my N950.

mount sailfish-hv-1.1.0.39-20141110.img /sfos
mount /dev/mmcblk0p4 /mnt
cp -a /sfos/* /mnt/

After that i have reboot my device push sfos icon (ubiboot) and nothing black screen why?
nb. in /mnt i have all folders and files correctly copied.

/mnt # ls
bin dev lib mnt root srv usr
boot etc lost+found opt run sys var
data home media proc sbin tmp
/mnt #

i don't copied vmlinuz-3.5.3-1.1.1-n950-sailfish (link down impossible to download it)
is it the problem?

After booting SFOS, check if it is actually running and only screen is blank (sometimes it happened to me)
If you connect USB cable and the NDIS link goes up, then it is so.

Already checked.
Led on and off after pushing sfos icon and bzimage default.
I don't connect any usb cable.
What is the problem?

What file inside /mnt i need to open?
Because now I have installed older SFOS version and it works.

1. No, you don't need the kernel when you install it in a separate partition. (And, you should be able to find it inside boot/ directory)
2. while 'cp -a' seems to preserve everything, I wonder if it really behaves fine with respect to everything. Why didn't you try the method I suggested at http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...ostcount=1910?
Since you've already decompressed the .img file, it could be changed to this:

dd if=sailfish-hv-1.1.0.39-20141110.img of=/dev/mmcblk0p4
/sbin/fsck.ext4 /dev/mmcblk0p4
/sbin/resize2fs /dev/mmcblk0p4

Same result doesn't boot.
Perhaps it need new kernel at startup cause i don't have vmlinuz-3.5.3-1.1.1-n950-sailfish /mnt/boot why?

Where you have the kernels does not matter.
With ubiboot you can put them whereever you want to, that is the very idea of ubiboot.

With SFOS the default is use the kernel that is located in the /boot/bzImage of the sailfishos partition (which thus becomes /boot/Sailfish/boot/bzImage in the lingo of ubiboot.conf)

To clarify, please post what gets written into your ubiboot.log
