One question to all you guys you've got your N900 back.
Are they wiped out all your data from device?

i tried searching the forum but couldn't find one specifically similar to mine.
Everytime I reboot the phone, there will always be a 'Charger Disconnected' signal for about 1-2 seconds. It doesn't charge and there seems to be no signs of defect at the port or the charger... I don't feel any significant lag or battery drain that seems to be bothering but I was just wondering... because I did drop my phone i think like.... 3 times, from probably knee high or slightly higher...
what is the problem?

My USB port came out entirely just before Christmas, I sent it back to Nokia last week and I've just checked the site and it's on its way back to me. No idea what they have done yet but will update when I get it.

Got it back today, they have fitted a new board apparently. Just restoring now, everything seems OK. Under two weeks isn't bad I thought.

Hi, my USB port has broken, I sent it to nokia care. 2 weeks after, I got it back, nokia repair it. No new board, they said, only repair it.
I m asking, how long time my "repaired" usb port will survive ?

So if anyone has an extra N900 circuit board with a blown USB port I would be happy to try the through hole fix and post pics. No warranty or promises on it surviving but I don't see why not. I would like to take a practice run before deciding if I want one to fix for myself on eBay. I have done enough surface mount soldering with radio build projects and now that we have the x-ray shots that I am confident on this.

Same problem here. I haven't tripped over the cable or anything like that but yesterday it started to toggle between charging and not charging if you touch the usb-contact. 
Should be a warranty thing but I'm going on a trip in two weeks and I really would need my phone then.... I mean computer, phone, camera all in the same tiny thing.
