You're right

I just checked my wife's samsung device and 'Enter' sends the msg.

They copy & paste it from somewhere, but still I don't recieve it with the same format...

Check settings > Profile > General > IM tone.

I get those one in Yappari, not the SMS tone.

I mean, be sure the IM tones are active.

You're right, the IM tone is the one that is used in Yappari, since it is an IM client

Just got a temporary connection timeout problem. Quitting and restarting fixed it as usual, but it got me worried for a second - I thought with the new system this would no longer be a problem. Do you require the log?

You don't need to do that... Yappari will always retry after 10 seconds.

Nobody ever needs to restart Yappari, don't do it, just leave it there.

I think I have to be more specific with the messages adding "Retrying in 10 seconds..." after every message.

It's a WhatsApp problem, just ignore it. It'll always connect in the next retry.

For a brief period I used a Samsung Galaxy Ace (which I had to give up, missed the n900 of course ) and in WhatsApp pressing enter would in fact type a new line. Which was very irritating by the way, it seems more logical that enter is for sending in IM clients, so I was very pleased when I saw that's the case in Yappari.
