And I am afraid for you that flashing rootfs only might be your only chance.
Nevertheless I would try to fix it manually.

If you are going to flash the one good thing is that flashing rootfs "only" wipes system and programs. But your home and MyDocs partition will stay untouched and you will keep all data like phone contacts, mail and other program data...

I have the exact same problem from the exact same command.
Is there any way to fix it from windows?

Edit:
Nevermind. For anyone else that comes here after this shitty guide that bricked your phone, just take it in the chin and reflash firmware only.
It’s a pain to set up N9 again at this day and age, but what can you do?
