I don't mean to be rude, but what is the reason behind this version? does using qtcomponents increase performance, is it easier to update, to sync with N9...

Looks great Marxian!
Finally got those qt-components working with a little help from
my friends on this forum.
A little thing I noticed on my device is that videos won't start when I choose a specific one.
However, the same video starts when I tap the playbutton in the
list of subscriptions.
Maybe a known thing.
Anyways,looks and feels nice

I hope more developers follow your example and release N9-apps
to our beloved N900 aswell. If it's possible that is.

I haven't managed to get qt-components to work yet.

Thanks
Saturn's way is better and safer than this way. Here is my way using XTerminal... (Warning! Dangerous!)
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get clean
apt-get install qt-components-10 libqtm-12
cd /var/cache/apt/archives
dpkg -i --force-all *.deb
apt-get clean
exit
exit

Just tested it: EXCELLENT! Thank you very much! (But I'm still keeping CuteTube-QML as it has some other... "features" (Plugins? :P ))
