Nice, the developer has updated Stellarium for Sailfish , you will find it here:

https://github.com/skorjevec/stel-sf/releases/tag/0.9.1

BTW, if you like this app, you can donate, the link is in the about section of the settings.

While it can't work on Sailfish 2.x (I'm using Sailfish X). As the author got rid of the Jolla, it was really a pity

I'm using Stellarium 0.9.1.1 very often since several Sailfish updates (almost since the first releases actually) and it works correctly, so maybe the issue is just with Sailfish X ? I have not updated to Sailfish 2.1.3.7 yet though.

Coincidence? I have been practicing to use the Sailfish SDK for few days and picked the Stellarium Mobile 1.24 as starting point.
https://noctua-software.com/stellarium-mobile

I have managed to get it to compile and package and deploy but it crashes on target (Sailfish phone or emulator) right away.

I've downloaded the program from here:
https://github.com/marko429/stel-sf/releases/tag/0.9.1

But unfortunately it doesn't work, to bad, it seemed nice to me.

They are some glitches but it works.

Tried it at SailfishX. It opens, displays for a fraction of second a window where lower half is full of labels "Stellarium 0.9.1" and in the background what seems to be the Moon phase, and then the window minimises. Clicking the window at the task screen repeates the above.
So - not working

Edit: that Moon phase image is probably a program logo or icon: https://github.com/marko429/stel-sf/...llarium-sf.png

Same behaviour here. So let's hope that Mara will succeed building a new version for SF.
At least the Android Version works on my Xperia. On my J1 it always crashed.

The 0.9.1 version does the same thing on my Moto G4 Plus...

Getting the compile work will be still some ways off at least... I have looked all the three version sources and trying to figure out what is the best way to proceed. The 0.9.1 gives two errors and bunch of warnings when trying to compile. This might still be easiest to get going.

EDIT: Got it compiled now! Problems were fixed by adding missing #include statements to certain QT libraries. (Found those by comparing to Stellarium Mobile source code.)

Trying to run it crashes. Here is the log for anyone interested:
