And all rumors were right and wrong at the same time.

gizmodo could tell me bears **** in the woods and i would believe them. they lie cheat and could not be any more biased against anything anti-american if they tried.

they dismissed the n8 as irrelevant as a horse and cart - a phone with the best hardware specs out there. they also rigged some video demos against the N8. i read the bankers article when it was linked from all about symbian and it is utter tosh.

Adnaan Ahmad is a f***ing idiot and Kat Hannaford is even worse for giving him a platform.

I don't get it how MeeGo would be a "proprietary platform" with Intel and tonnes of other companies working on it. What's gonna be proprietary about it? Why is being proprietary a bad thing if its Apple Nokia needs to compete with?

And its not exactly like MeeGo is the upcoming invention of Linux now is it! Just going nuts over this guy. Every sentence he wrote is just a bit wrong.

I don't know, it's CPU is a generation behind the one in the N900.

His statement about MeeGo being proprietary made me chuckle. Android is more proprietary than MeeGo, since aside from the kernel it doesn't pull anything from the greater open source community. So in other words, he's throwing around terminology he picked up off the floor of some teleconference and trying to play with the stock value.

An utterly idiotic premise at this point.

Anyone presenting this opinion is either uninformed or willfully spreading FUD.

Perhaps he meant Harmattan/Meego? Though I doubt he would get that specific.
