Probably irrelevant to the topic, but relevant to the website:

@Reggie, May I know what is the limit of changing threads' titles? Is there a specific number? Because in the NITDroid thread, I am no longer able to change the title, and there is that lil yellow exclamation mark next to the thread title in the "edit" view of my first post that I guess is not good

In case I'm the artee you're talking about, not sure what I've done to deserve thanks, on the other hand, I guess fair is fair, I can also not thank anyone... :-)

BTW I just found this thread because I was trying to figure out where the Thanks button would be...

And also, I did indeed change my email address recently, but I have since used the activation codes sent to my new address to confirm it.

[edit] I just redid the activation via the link in the mentioned ticket, and it should be ok now. At least I can now thank.

According to the bug entry Reggie linked (just in case that gets disassociated):

You must have changed your email address recently and not confirmed your email
that's why your account was set to "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation." forum
accounts with this status cannot be thanked.

You may have the confirmation email resent from this link:
http://talk.maemo.org/register.php?do=requestemail

If you have specified the wrong email address on your account, you can change
it from here:
http://talk.maemo.org/profile.php?do=editpassword

Make sure you click on link that is provided in the email so as to confirm your
email address.
