Actually I'm looking for one, and what I did - find the N900 eBay seller (Hong Kong), then find out who brought N900 of him as last person. I was lucky enough, he was from USA (don't like them cheaky monkeys...joke champs), and willing to share feedback about the item and seller. So long story short - the phone (mighty N900) was geniuine Nokia stuff, the charger was new but faulty, the same with the headphones) - for me - have too many Nokia chargers already, and I don't use phone as a music player. But You are paying for that stuff anyway. Price with shipping to Eire was 138€.

Dear cellphoneforever, you are a lying sack of $#!T
but why should he tell the truth when he can lie and cash in?
The expectation is that nobody will understand the stuff on the phone or open the case and see the filthy hand repaired board with plenty of soldering iron burns.
The sad thing is everyone seems to know the scam and anything from Hong Kong is priced close to or below used price.
I strongly suggest buying private used rather than that liar cellphoneforever's repaired fake new phones as they can be close to bricked(as mine was) and have apparently already been returned as defective once.
Be sure you are well protected against fraud before even considering cellphoneforever.
If you can't tell I am quite bitter having been sold a broken phone as new having seen others here on Talk getting a usable N900 from Hong Kong likely cellphoneforever and loosing over $200 for a phone a week from brick. I want the word out what a scam they are running.

I have two N900's that I was going to put on ebay. One of them has almost no use on it. The other is in good condition.

I dealt with this seller just recently.. to sum it up.. recieved one phone w/ faulty charger, a broken lens cover, aswell as a scratched lens.and the phone went ******ed. I sent it back the and I recieved another that had a few dead pixels; I told them ill try one more time and they wouldnt send me another. I did get a refund as well as refunded shipping twice. All they really was worried about was bad feedback. Lets jus say with all that headache and my time wasted 2 months.. I did get something out of it.. They refunded me the money before I sent the phone. Maybe you`ll have a lil luck as well...

In my experience (cellphoneforever) has been quite the opposite to most of the users here. Then again, I've hardly scratched the surface of the phone. I'm only using it for installing certain applications and as a regular phone.

Camera works fine, battery was genuine. Box wasn't original, nor were any of the accessories. The phone as been ok thus far.

This is not surprising, most N900's can have the USB port repaired if needed and some new plastic outside and it wil be fine. The key to this discussion is that in China there are new plastic outside parts available to make fake "new" phones that are sold under false pretences. A well used board from a traded in phone with new plastic outside is very different than a factory new unused N900. The important point is not my situation but that cellphoneforever and some other sellers are lying about the phones, they are Nokia N900 refurbs not new.

Who we need is an "insaide man" - chinease secret agent :-) to invigilate the smartphones market. For example, brand new N900 in Poland (from official Nokia on line distributor on polish market) will cost You around 375€. Used one in great condition (close to factory shape) will pull 150 - 180€ out from Your pocket. So with that kind of level in used and brand new (2 years full warranty) on market, prices around 140 - 160€ for new device are thrully out of the magic hat.

I've been purchasing n900 from cellphoneforever too. Actually, I wouldn't mind post-repair n900 if it would be relatively close to brand new considering the price. But the one i've got had very loose slider mechanism (had to replace it right after i've got the phone), split plastic on the back cover, 2 screws missing and 4 other are not genuine n900 screws. Screen protector was having bubbles & I had to replace it too. So, it's not worth the price even if you're ok to get a used phone. I'm still unsure about some parts of the phone, if they're hardly weared out or non-genuine (plastic base won't match plastic rim around the keyboard. I can see the stripe of backlight below the keyboard). And metal rim around the screen has blush nokia title too.
So either purchase a new n900 for a real price or buy a used one but avoid HK sellers and especially cellphoneforever. I've managed to get my phone working ok but it cost me +50$ to my original purchase for replacement parts & screen protector. I can bet that for the price i've paid for these (phone+replacements) I could purchase 2 used n900 in the same condition or better. Do not forget that you won't get original n900 accessories purchasing from cellphoneforever either.
