So I formatted my phone again and now I don't have an internal memory problem but it say my memory card is corrupted when I check the memory tab in settings. Any advice?

If there is no device /dev/mmcblk0p1 mounted at /home/user/MyDocs this error message is obvious
Just carry on to check the filesystem, because flashing the firmware is not touching the MyDocs partition at all.

There are two scenarios possible:
1) There is no data on the MyDocs partition, then just format this partition, either in Hildon File Manager by long-pressing the device name to get the format option.
2) There could be something valuable data on the partition, then try to repair the file system
Code:
sudo gainroot
fsck -af /dev/mmcblk0p1
Reboot the N900 to verify everything is working

Can't see the device name in the file manager
but the second part ran and it said
/dev/mmcblk0p1: 0 files, 1/1768704 cluters

Please the full error message, this is too little to be sure about the corruption of the file system. Also i do not understand which part of which procedure you are referring to:

Are you trying to check and repair the old file system?
Are you trying to wipe the partition and create a new file system?

So I rerun every command you've asked so far on a reformatted phone with rootsh installed and attached the output, also a couple of screen shoot to show you what I mean by internal memory and how it's full.michaaa.txt

Last thing, this didn't help though

/home/user # fsck -af /dev/mmcblk0p1
fsck 1.41.3.maemo0 (12-Oct-2008)
dosfsck 2.11, 12 Mar 2005, FAT32, LFN
/dev/mmcblk0p1: 59 files, 1310/1768704 clusters
/home/user #
