You are absolutely right, that's my feeling as well. But I didn't play the game much on the PC myself, and when I mentioned this problem to the neverball forum, it seems that the game is indeed difficult for everybody. :-)
Let's see, I'd be curious to hear the opinion of those who have been playing neverball on the desktop for a long time, to see if they find it much harder on the N900.

[SOLVED]
Hi Mardy, thanks for Your nice work!

Ho ever, when i try to install Neverball/Neverputt, i get broken dependency warning. Examining logs, reveal that I need:

libsdl-ttf2.0 (>= 2.0.9-1osso1+0m5)

If I remember correctly, lacking of this package was cause of fail, when I tried installing other game few weeks ago. Still, I can't find this package in repos, except for libsdl-ttf2.0-dev, which is obviously not what I'm looking for.

As I see, it's working for everyone else, so it must be something trivial, that I'm missing. Advices highly appreciated, thanks in advance.

In Neverball, how can I change the view to lazy (F2)? TIA, testerus.

Indeed - after playing the PC (desktop) version, I came to the conclusion that the "lazy" camera view might help as it tends to flick around less than the normal view.

But of course, no F2 on the N900 keyboard, and it doesn't seem to be an option to set either.

Also, just FYI: in the options/video menu if I select low-res textures, Neverball segfaults
