Smoke BG , I think, is what you meant by not followng my list exactly. But, I like it well enough.
*Is the BG smoke bluish enough?
*Are the calendar views behaving themselves?
Do you want to just put it together into devel? Then I could give you better specifics.

I really like the B&W theme, but there are some odd 'embellishments' that appear on the horizontal lines on some widgets, i.e. the Maps widget, Media Player widget and the Calendar widget. These 'embellishments' aren't there on all themes, but are on quite a few, and they just look wrong IMO.
Is it possible to remove them? If you don't understand, I'll post a screenshot.

I'm not sure that it is broken or corrupted as such, its just personal preference, I guess
I'm talking about the squiggles on the line above the On/Off switch on the Maps widget. They are also visible on the Media Player widget and Calendar widget in the screenshots in your post above.
