Has somebody tried compile Firefox 7 (last officially supported for N810/N900) to Maemo Leste?

Here you can find source:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/7.0.1/

Is this the last nightly source (Fennec 10) Maemo 5?:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/n...ra-maemo5-gtk/

It might enough light weight browser to N900 and
it would be nice if that Maemo UI integration code can used with Firefox 102 with Pinephone or Droid4.

I just tried QtWebBrowser on my Droid 4. Very nice. Renders pages well, has good UI for touch. And it's quite fast.

How about writing with the hardware keyboard of Droid4? I tested with Pinephone Keyboard and I could not see what writing to text-box (example duckduckgo.com), because the screen keyboard of browser is on top of text-box. I have same problem with Falkon-browser. Surf-browser has even worse, it doesn't let write anything to textbox of web-pages.

Hardware keyboard works without any problems. Virtual doesn't show at all.

Fennec 17 was unofficial build as far as I know.

I tested Epiphany-browser in Pinephone.Keyboard

Easy install:
sudo apt-get install epiphany-browser
(do not write just "sudo apt-get install epiphany" or you install Boulder Dash like game called Epiphany)

Some notices:
- Generic icon in Debian folder wtih name Web
- drop-down menu button is quite small, I have to push many times before i could select it. Arrow keys + enter works fine to select in menus.
- set default zoom to 80% to make pages to fit well.
- you can make to start in Incognito mode.
- You can get back from full-screen without pressing F11 (is there way push F11 with Pinephone Keyboard?), dragging top of screen to get icon get back (it has slow response)
- Little slower (some sites vey slow) than Firefox 102 ESR, but because full screen works, it more useful in some pages.
- I am pretty sure that it is too big for N900 memory, but might work with Droid4.

I tested Konqueror browser with Pinephone Keyboard.

easy install:
sudo apt-get install konqueror

Quite good browser, I could open all pages so far, except some pages that has pull down menu (page goes black after choose), but you can continue browsing choosing from file menu "open with firefox".

Compared to Firefox 102 ESR:
- faster
- clever tabs, if only one tab then doesn't show tab line
- ctrl+shift+f to get almost fullscreen to get more room for page

It should work with Droid4 too.

This version would be too much for N900 memory, but it has more than just browser so maybe after lightweigting it can fit. Or what happened to Konqueror embedded version?:
