no need to export directly from your N9. sync it with ownCloud, from there you have a direct "download" link that creates a ics file for you. you can then perform the same via Thunderbird (right-click -> export).

CalDAV calendars location on ownCloud server should have similar structure:
http://yourwebsite.com/owncloud/remo...e/calendarname

That won't work. You'd have to edit each of the local calendar entries on the N9 to change the calendar to the ownCloud calendar. I don't think there's a bulk edit either.

If there was a .ICS file export, that would be useful but there isn't.

Possibly there was a way of doing it with the old Nokia PC/Ovi Suite?

In order to synchronise with Microsoft Outlook through Nokia Suite 3.8.54, one has to manually change calendar entries to the "PC-SYNC" calendar on the N9 (that calendar appears after the first synchronisation with Nokia Suite). It is then possible to bulk export calendar entries from Outlook.

Nokia Suite 3.8.54 can be downloaded from:

So essentially what people are saying is there is *no* way to sync the inbuilt N9 calendar with anything. I would have to change the location of all my entries to a compatible sync calendar... Very unfortunate.

Using syncevolution you are very flexible in your calendar selection and it supports CalDav. It requires some work on the command line.
A good description how to set up your device you can find here: http://tanghus.net/2012/07/syncing-y...oud-an-update/
This is talking about a n900, but the setup is basically the same.
Syncevolution for your N9 you can find here: https://openrepos.net/content/holgern/syncevolution

There is even a simple GUI if you want to use it on the long run: https://openrepos.net/content/holgern/syncevolution-gui

Unfortunately this link doesn't seem to work anymore - do you have another guide?
Thanks for your help!

I made a post for using sync evolution on the n900 a while ago. It may be of some help since it had links to some of my sources. And I think I remember a n9 example some where, though may not be in my links.

Hope it helps in some way.

Thankyou xman! The link above did the trick. I am now able to sync the built in N9 calendar with my own owncloud set up. It's very reassuring Ihave a backup seeing my backup program isn't running...

My final question for you lovely people is:

I want to sync my (built-in) notes with Owncloud as well. I know this can't be done out of the box, but are there any Notes apps I can sync with Owncloud and import the stock Notes into?

I know of ownnotes but I've heard I can't import with that.

It's no biggy as I can happily export the notes then re-import them.

I use Conboy for notes, so never really tried syncing builtin caldav notes. quick search turned up nothing concrete. I'm sure it's part of syncevolution that just needs a eating changes and then own cloud I think can sync it just need apps to read it. I would also look into

- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thu...uickfox-notes/
- And see what happen when you simply turn on notes syncing. syncevo-phone-config --advanced

=== sources/todo/config.ini ===
backend = todo
sync = two-way
syncFormat = text/x-vcalendar
uri = calendar

=== sources/memo/config.ini ===
backend = memo
sync = two-way
syncFormat = text/plain
uri = notes

- https://syncevolution.org/documentat...volution-usage
- https://syncevolution.org/search/node/notes

Good luck
