This is great I can now probably give up my previous solution which was forwarding email to an imap/exchange server for Claws. Hopefully the new modest email client works well with imap.

This is so just in time for OS X Leopard's release! The new To Do's in Leopard are saved via email and IMAP is a requirement. I wonder if Gmail will be smart enough to read those To Do emails and add it to Google Calendar?

I have the same problem with Gmail and the built-in email application, it downloaded the headers but not once did I get the actual message - so two bugs need to be fixed, maybe even before OS2008?
