thats going to suck if true cause the only thing i have that reads these cards is the N800. I tryed them in my laptop built in sd card reader and no go. it does not detect them. any more ideas on how to see them? any patches that i might have forgotten. I loaded the 38-2 upgrade from nokia's website.

Maybe just try to remove and reinstall them while N800 is on (not power down). If you have xterm, you should check dmesg log to see if there are any clues why the cards fail to mount...

Can you see the cards as removable drives when you hook up the N800 to PC? If so, you can format the cards from PC...

ok got it working had to remove cards reboot shutdown spin around 5 pushups and then reinsert cards and power up... but now in control panel i see 2 cards. SWEET....
