Just got my n800 a few weeks back and have been gobbling up accessories like a mofo (uh... the Zune case I picked up at Office Depot today for $7 on clearance that is meant to hold a Zune and all of it's accessories? WAY TOO BIG! I was dazzled by the low low price. I suppose I'll find a use for it though.).

Cancelled my Asus pre-order when n800 prices dropped radically.

My Christmukkah bonus to myself is going to be a new monitor. If a 24" comes around at a decent price it's 24. If not, a 22" will do. 19" 1280x1024 just isn't cutting it any longer.

The 40GB PS3 can be picked up for £299, which is about the right price for me considering it's a games console AND a high def DVD spinner AND a media hub. With dedicated Blu-Ray players starting at £500-£600 the PS3 is a bargain!

I'm shopping the Eee pc or something similar for the wifey, this year. She's been using a P2 notebook running linux for a couple years, and the hardware is showing it's age, even if she doesn't really notice.

I *just* got a PP3 and so far I'm liking it a lot. So far, I've installed OO.o2, Pidgin, Portabase, Skype (1.4) and plan on taking it with me on my next trip. I also plan on taking my N800, but from what I've seen so far, that will be what I throw in my pocket, not what I'll use to actually do my work ('ve tried doing work on the N800 for a couple trips now).

About 3 pounds and I'll be abe to carry both without much extra weight.

R.

Well, so far some kid I don't know and I are both getting an OLPC thanks to the buy-one, get-one they are doing. 399, 200 of which is tax-deductable. http://www.laptopgiving.org/en/index.php You even get a year of Tmo hotspot. What the heck - give and get.

Probably going to get n810 (maybe depends on how impressed I am with 2008 on n800, but I *really* want keyboard and GPS ), might save & wait for next Eee with 1gig/8gig.

Just ordered the OLPC as well, and keeping my N810 preorder too.
Sorry, Asus

I'm keeping an eye on the neo 1973 in hopes that it will offer DUN for my 770 internet tablet connect through it. Since I still need GPS + a cell phone the openmoko looks like it'll be right up my alley to tinker with next to maemo.
