Mine is set at '1'.. The switch is definitely labeled 1/10

Never noticed it before but it's labeled 1/10 or just happens to have a 1/10 label beside it. Mine is also set to 1.

Better leave it alone unless you are interested into opening the device (and void the warranty: the screws are dipped in blue paint that comes off when they are removed).

Hope you did not find that out while voiding your warranty.
If you did open the device: did you see any possibility to upgrade the internal memory in an easy way?
