yeah , but its still the principle of the thing , i pay $500+ for this device , i should damn well be able to keep the keyboard light on if that is what i desire. why would it be so damn hard to have a full power management panel like my computer does.

(and as a comment, the sensors position on the fascia is simply mind blowing - didn't anyone think it might be covered by the users thumb?!)
I too wish I had more control over the keyboard light... now I just hit the right Shift key, it's easy enough to find & doesn't enter any input.
