its exactly the same problemĦĦĦ i did a format to my nokia and now i cant play music files....

Wait, so the default program CAN play the music? I think I know your problem. Canola uses mplayer (i THINK) as its music player, while the built in player uses gstreamer. Maybe this is your problem. Try to update mplayer. Both should play AAC audio out of the box.

Someone with more information please chime in.

yeah i can play music with the default program but witn canola i cant :s im going to try it....

Try playing it with mplayer from the command line, and see what is the problem.

yes, i can play them with mplayer... so whats the problem with canola?

Does Canola give an error message, or is the problem that the .m4a files don't even show up in Canola?

the problem is that canola doesnt show .m4a filesĦĦĦ :S

lol dude, you should have told us this in the start! Your problem is that canola is not scanning your memory cards properly. Look up "lightmediascanner" and "canola aac" and stuff like that. Does your other music show up?

yes, I put some mp3 files and canola could find them, what you mean with "lightmediascanner" and "canola aac"? where i download that?
