Thank you. What about deleting all your repositories before upgrading? There are more than a few posts stating that one should delete all repositories since the the 2008 version has a lot of them built in and then reloading new 2008 versions. (still learning)

This is the 1st release version of os2008 for n800, btw.

After I flashed the new OS and it loaded my backup, it had removed the old, incompatible repositories.
