Regarding Canola2: I have only owned the N800 for two months so I am by no means an expert. While I was reading the board somewhere I read if you were having install problems to go through all the catalogs and disable them. Start by adding one at a time and refresh. I did this and found two repositories the did not refresh and i disabled them. One was Mapper and I forget what the other one was. After I did this I was able to install Canola2. This is not a guarantee I'm just sharing my experience.

I hope it helps.

Canola 2 was one of the first things I tried to install on my N810 out of the box, it didn't work then, and it also didn't work right after I updated OS2008. I still get the corrupted installer message.

Try following what I did and maybe you'll be able to install it after you check the repositories. Once I did that Canola2 installed without problems.

I have tried disabling the red pill... I have uninstalled python... disabled repositores...followed link after link after link... and I can't get canola to work!

It installs... but when I press the icon in the extra menu.... nothing happens.... I get a small box with ''loading'' ... but nothing else....

I am giving up on this ''wonderous'' media player...
